It goes without saying that most families have very complicated, hectic lives and feel that they do not have the time to think about eating a healthy diet. It can be difficult to find the motivation to prepare nutritious meals that will keep everyone in the family happy, and nobody gets it right all of the time.

However, if you start by trying to increase the variety of fruit and vegetables you eat, switching to more wholegrain varieties of rice, bread and pasta and choosing lower fat milk and dairy foods, you will already be on the road to healthy eating.
